This is a FOREST TOKYO original colorway, upcycled from surplus leather that would otherwise have been discarded after being used for luxury car seats and interior upholstery.
Leather used for automotive interiors is required to meet high standards, not only for beauty but also for durability against daily friction and temperature changes. Rather than discarding these high-quality materials, we have repurposed them into items for you and your dog to use every day. Each piece is carefully crafted, making the most of the texture and rich colors inherent to the material.
AUTOMOTIVE LEATHER
We use leather of the grade adopted for the seats and interiors of automobiles, including luxury European cars.
Because the material is designed for the harsh environment of a car interior, it is highly durable and relatively water-resistant. We have achieved a balance between the practicality needed for daily walks and the premium texture unique to high-quality leather.
*This product is not completely waterproof. If it gets wet, wipe off any moisture and let it dry in a well-ventilated area.
UPCYCLE
When manufacturing or reupholstering car seats and interiors, there is leftover leather that goes unused due to size or shape constraints, even though it has no quality defects.
At FOREST TOKYO, we make effective use of such surplus leather that was destined for the bin. Rather than just using new leather, we add new value to existing high-quality materials. We aimed to create products that will stay by your dog's side for years to come.

You can choose your favorite color for the "FOREST TOKYO" embossed leather tag that attaches to the collar, available in 10 colors in total.
Whether you coordinate it with the color of the collar itself or use a vibrant color as an accent, the overall impression changes significantly depending on the combination, allowing you to enjoy customizing it to match your dog's coat or everyday outfits. The gold-colored hardware elegantly enhances the texture of the leather.
